ABOUT CATON & HIGH VOLTAGE

Caton is a manufacturer of high voltage connectors and cable assemblies for use in the Military, Semiconductor, Utility, Medical and Avionics industries. The majority of our products operate at voltages up to 100kVdc; altitudes up to 50,000 ft and have partial discharge levels of 5 or 15 picocoulombs at voltages up to 15kV RMS. Our assembly configurations have up to 13 conductors, multi-shields, use single, double and triple extruded silicone cable and are built to lengths of up to 300 feet.

Caton Connector Corporation was founded in 1973 in Plymouth, Massachusetts by the late Louis G. Galambos, P.E. and Frank Tylinski. Both of whom were WWII USN veterans and spent the better part of their respective careers in the field of high voltage interconnects. Galambos specialized in high voltage education (engineering), design and manufacturing; while Tylinski’s strengths were in high voltage sales and marketing.

In 1975 Mr. Galambos became sole owner of Caton and focused on designing and manufacturing product for nearby Raytheon who remains a key customer of Caton. In 1980 Caton moved to its present 50,000 square foot facility in Kingston, Massachusetts.

Today Caton is home to 33 high voltage professionals dedicated to exceeding customer requirements in demanding environments where field failure is just not an option. Caton is ISO 9001 and AS 9100 registered and is dedicated to process improvement and lean operations.

Certified ISO9001:2000 and AS9100B:2004 since 2005

Caton Connector Corporation received their certification for both ISO9001:2000 and AS9100B:2004 in December of 2005. These globally recognized standards ensure our commitment to quality throughout the entire order cycle from product identification and quote to order fulfillment.

To obtain these certifications CatISO Certifiedon underwent an extensive review of all internal procedures including Sales, engineering, Materials, Manufacturing and Quality. An impartial team of expert auditors from NQA, USA reviewed the implementation of our extensive Quality Management System. Upon their recommendation and review of their findings Caton received their official certification.
